RVA LUG, the Richmond LEGO® Users Group, is a hobby club for AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) in the central Virginia area and beyond, from Roanoke to Williamsburg, up to Fredericksburg.
We find LEGO fascinating. It’s a fantastic art medium, which knows no age, time, language, or cultural limits. It encourages creativity: artistically and problem solving. It’s quite amazing, really. There’s a reason it’s so popular all over the world.
What is RVA-LUG All About?
We meet at least once a month to talk about what projects we’re working on, official LUG business, and anything about LEGO in general. We are focused on the hobby as a personal pursuit, as well as promoting to the public. We have showcased our creations all over, at maker shows, Comic-Cons, libraries, LEGO Conventions, theaters, and museums.

If you are also a fan of LEGO, you should be aware there are many people like yourself and we all love to hang out and have fun. Whether it’s casually hanging out at a restaurant, or in a garage building a large collaborative project, or putting on a show for the public, any social aspect you could be interested in is organized here. We love every type of builder and collector. Whatever you wish to pursue, here is endless opportunity. We’re especially fortunate, because BrickFair VA is probably the largest LEGO convention in the world and it’s right here, every summer a five-day party with a thousand of your friends that gather from all over the world. You must experience it at least once, even if only as a member of the public on the weekend. It is quite the show.
